I don't think he will be getting a pardon
Cohen received a three year sentence with the bulk of the sentence for paying hush money payments to two women during the campaign and two months in prison for lying to congress about the Russian project talks.
He was also hit with forfeiture of $500,000, restitution of $1.4 million and a fine of $50,000.
At his sentencing hearing he said:
"Today is the day that I am getting my freedom back." ... "I have been living in a personal and mental incarceration ever since the day that I accepted the offer to work for a real estate mogul whose business acumen that I deeply admired."
"I take full responsibility for each act that I pleaded guilty to ...." including those implicating the "President of the United States of America."
He added that his "weakness was a blind loyalty to Donald Trump."
The Mueller investigation is likely in the end game. The real question is whether Don Jr will be indicted.
