Merkel is the rare bird showing some love for Cyprus while members of the German parliament on both sides of the aisle show little willingness to bailout it out. A short while ago Finnish PM Katainen said that Cyprus’s challenges are rally huge and said that a committed new leadership will have a positive impact.
Good thing it’s a really small economy. Otherwise we’d have another full-blown crisis on our hands.
