Men steal $4 million of gold and silver
Three men held up and robbed an armored car today in North Carolina. The tractor trailer carrying the massive haul reported broke down on the I-95.
On the side of the road, the pair of drivers were approached by three armed men driving a white van who tied their hands behind their backs and made them walk into the woods, police said. They then made off with a reported $4 million of precious metals.
If it was gold, that would be about 3,300 ounces, or 200 lbs worth.
