Bloomberg reports, citing an unnamed UK official following Theresa May's meeting with German chancellor, Angela Merkel, earlier
- May told Merkel about statement that will be made in parliament tomorrow
- UK Cabinet expected to discuss Brexit some time tomorrow
- May had a 45-minutes breakfast meeting with Merkel earlier
In case you didn't know, May is meeting up with European leaders to try and get further progress on Brexit negotiations at the Arab-European summit in Egypt. The report also states that she has met up with Dutch PM Rutte and will be meeting with Irish PM Varadkar later. Plenty of behind-the-scenes talk for now, but little progress to show for.
