Mike Hughes in California plans to launch his rocket (with his good self inside) on Saturday
- On a 500-mph, mile-long flight, max height of 1800 feet
This is just phase 1 of a plan to get many miles above the Earth, from where he will photograph proof of the disc - flat, natch.
- "It'll shut the door on this ball earth," Hughes said in a fundraising interview with a flat-Earth group

(his Kickstarter raised $310 .... the goal was $150,000)
- "We were kind of looking for new sponsors for this. And I'm a believer in the flat Earth," Hughes said. "I researched it for several months."
LOL. I think Mike might be taking advantage of some of the more gullible, less intelligent members of the US community to fund his hobby.
