Earlier in the week, she assumed that the US would not impose auto tariffs while both parties are in the midst of negotiations. Well, she only has to look at how that assumption worked out for China as proof that that certainly won't be the case.
The tariffs look imminent at this point and when they hit, expect risk sentiment in markets to take a turn for the worse.
