LDP’s Abe: Would pursue monetary easing of a scale exceeding that when LDP was previously in power 3 years ago

• Agree wasteful spending is not good, but must use both monetary and fiscal policy to revive economy
• Cannot fix Japan’s finances unless deflation beaten and nominal GDP growth expands
