According to a IPSOS poll
- Support for Lega now at 25.4% - up 8% since 4 March elections
- Support for Five Star steady at 32.6%
As what is feared by markets over the last two days, the idea of fresh elections will only serve to give the populists a better position to go against the pro-Europe establishment in Italy right now.
Expect more of this to be reflected in euro sentiment as the elections get confirmed.
