Kudlow adds:
- The US economy is growing while China's is not doing well.
Whether CFIUS is "less harsh" or not is open to interpretation. If a committee is to decide on the merits of a China action, it seems to me that anything can be be given a thumbs up or thumbs down at any time.
The US tech stocks have slid on the headline.
The Nasdaq moved to a low of 7566. It is back up to 7574 currently but was up to a high of 7610.67.
The S&P is trading near the middle of the day's range at 2736.50. The high reached 2746. The low at 2728.
