Comments from White House advisor Larry Kudlow:
- We're not there yet on China trade deal, hope to get closer this week
- Chinese delegation in Washington for three days
- China has acknowledged problems of IP theft, was previously in denial
- Can't be specific on when US will roll back tariffs on China because that is part of enforcement decision
- No decision have been made on potential auto tariffs
There's nothing really notable here. Optimism about a deal is high but I'd argue it's almost entirely priced in.
