JP Morgan say a second Brexit referendum is unlikely

US investment house JP Morgan out with a client note 27 June 2016

  • small likelihood but unlikely citing new PM and UK/EU divorce talks proceeding toward an EU exit
  • most likely new PM will enact Article 50 before end-2016 but no later than early 2017
  • do not see early UK elections unless triggered by its own ruling Conservative Party MPs

I don't it see that clear cut but obviously the opposition Labour Party implosion is helping the govt regroup at the moment. Still potentially a threat to consider though.
