JOLTS data the lone highlight on a light calendar

Oil and JOLTS in focus

There isn't much scheduled excitement on the economic calendar in New York trading today. The lone notable event is at 10 am ET (1400 GMT) when the Fed's June Job Openings and Labor Turnover Survey will be released. The consensus is for a slight improvement to 5700K from 5666K.

Canada is back from a holiday on Monday so that could improve flows in USD/CAD.

There are also short-term oil forecasts from the DOE at 1600 GMT and a three-year Treasury auction.

There might be some interesting market commentary today on financial TV with Jamie Dimon and Jeff Gundlach both slated to be on CNBC.
