The annoying part about all of this for the pound is that we still have about one more month of "campaign talk" like what we're seeing above. There isn't going to be a better deal and when either Hunt or Johnson are elected as prime minister, a general election is certainly a real possibility unless they're really willing to push for a no-deal Brexit.
