Japan has been one of the quieter nations in all of the trade rhetoric among other nations this year. But over the weekend (and last week), Japan has been making nice with China and both nations are pushing closer towards a possible Asia free-trade deal in the future.

In a time when Japan is being cornered with regards to their allegiance, they're finding at unlikely ally in China at the moment.
