The strong results for Abe’s LDP at the Tokyo metroplitan assembly elections have analysts now saying that Abe is set to win the July 21 upper house election. With no further elections scheduled for the diet for 3 years the ensuing political stability will give Abe the chance to enact economic reforms that are sorely needed in the country.
