The ban is for entry of non-Japanese citizens travelling from the UK
This confirmed by Japan's chief Cabinet secretary, Katsunobu Kato, with the ban set to go into effect tomorrow. Amid the new virus strain, more than 40 countries have already banned travel and/or limited freight from the UK and Japan now adds to the list.
