Japan reportedly said to offer ¥300,000 handout to virus-hit households

The report says that Kishida and prime minister Abe have agreed that households who have seen a drop in income due to the virus outbreak will receive a cash handout of ¥300,000.

This falls under the latest stimulus package by the government, with the timing of the handouts said to be some time in May based on an earlier report last week.
