Japan labour unions see monthly wages rising 2.16% in fiscal year 2018

Wage rise estimates based on responses of 675 unions in the country

Japan's Trade Union Confederation, Rengo, releases the estimate of the average wage rise in the coming fiscal year - which begins in April.

Not exactly numbers you'd jump at, especially for Kuroda who says that wages need to rise by at least 3% if the BOJ is to have any chance of achieving its 2% inflation target.
