- Industrial production y/y +2.5% vs +2.7% prelim

Meanwhile, January capacity utilisation was also released and it came in at -7.3% m/m.
The revised figures are slightly to the downside, but as Eamonn pointed out in the preliminary readings the miss here is much expected as a stronger yen weighs in on export competitiveness. A minor data point though.
USD/JPY still hugging the lows at 105.88 now, EUR/JPY at 130.35, and GBP/JPY at 147.52.
