Association:
— Nov machine tool orders -20.7% y/y at Y88.8 billion, marking the seventh
straight monthly drop after -6.7% in October and -2.8% in September.
— Orders from the domestic market, a leading indicator of core machinery
orders, -20.5% y/y, the 6th straight fall after -13.2% in October and -12.7% in
September.
— Orders from overseas, which account for about 70% of overall orders, -20.7%
y/y, the 2nd straight monthly fall, after -3.8% in October and +1.9% in
September.
