Jamie Dimon says he is not disappointed by last week's US-China talks

JP Morgan CEO, Jamie Dimon, speaks to Bloomberg TV

  • Trade war is always possible, but not a preference
  • No reason why US-China issues can't be bridged
  • Business roundtable not in favour of tariffs
  • American economy - in a broad-based way - is strong
  • Can easily deal with 4% bonds

From a business standpoint, the lack of news was probably a good thing to come from the US-China talks in Beijing. But the market surely was hoping for something more, but in the end the lack of fresh direction in trade talks didn't mean much either way.
