Italian deputy prime minister Matteo Salvini speaks to RAI Radio
- Wants to keep election promises, respect rules
- Says that pension reform is top priority
Salvini pretty much confirms a report by Repubblica earlier that there will be talks on the budget later in the day.
Despite all the soothing and calming words, it doesn't quite add up when he continues to reiterate that flat tax and pension reform are among the top priorities for the government. Add to the fact that they want to promise citizens' a form of income, it does raise some concerns as to how they can juggle all of that and maintain financial sustainability.
