The game of chicken continues. Italy is maintaining their stance that they won't budget when it comes to the key items in the budget and that's making for a tough time for both themselves and the European Commission to reach a common ground.
As a reminder, the European Commission is to deliver its response to Italy's revised budget proposal on Wednesday. One need not guess to know whether or not they'd accept it. It's already a foregone conclusion but more time is just being wasted at this point.
