Di Maio wants a new finance minister, League doesn't
Italian 5-Star leader Di Maio is out with a video on facebook saying "let's find a person of the same level of the excellent professor Savona" in a plea to form a government.
He spoke with the President earlier today.
The League leader continues to emphasize that the positions won't be renegotiated.
"If they change even a single man in the government team, the government has no reason to be," he said.
Salvini likely believes his party can improve its standing with new elections. However by putting the offer out in the open, Di Maio may be attempting to make Salvini look petty.
A final solution would be if Savona decided to withdraw his candidacy.
