- casts a shadow over govt's full year GDP target of +1.2% for 2016
- indicator continuing to head lower due to weakness in business expectations and mftg orders
Italian GDP rose +0.3% in Q1 compared to +0.5% for the Eurozone overall and Italian growth continues to disappoint after emerging from a 3-year recession at the start of 2015
