Ireland's foreign minister Simon Coveney comments in the Irish Times
- Says have simply heard of concepts from the UK on the backstop
- Intensification of talks are required
The comments there aren't exactly beaming with confidence. As mentioned in previous posts, right now it's all about the details and whether or not the UK can present a credible proposal on resolving the Irish backstop/border issue. Until then, there's just going to be a lot of noise like what we have seen today so far.
