Comments by Iraq oil minister Jabbar al-Luaibi
- Prices are improving
- Iraq to decide by year-end whether to keep oil output cuts
- Will not deviate from any OPEC decision on crude supply
- Next OPEC meeting to decide on 2019 output and whether or not to extend supply cuts
Meanwhile, we're also hearing from OPEC secretary general Barkindo in saying that OPEC is looking for "more sustainable" cooperation with other oil exporters.
The usual stuff so far we're hearing, though Barkindo's comments suggests that we could see OPEC's list of allies grow longer. Chad, Congo, and Malaysia are among those who has filed applications recently to join OPEC.
OPEC will meet again on 22 June this year in Vienna, Austria.
