An Iranian official speaking to Reuters on the matter
- Calls on other powers to take specific measures to salvage the deal
- Collapse of nuclear deal will cause further tension in Middle East
- Needs practical measures to fully compensate for US actions
Officials from the EU, Russia, China, and Iran are all in Vienna today to discuss on the Iran nuclear deal and how to go ahead with one without the US. So far, things haven't been going too well as Germany's foreign minister has said that Europe won't be able to fully compensate for companies leaving Iran as per their demands.
Although this is an issue that has been cast to the sidelines, it's one of the many lingering global tensions that still plays a part in dampening the mood of the global economy.
