These are the important economic data releases coming up:
2300GMT South Korea – Current Account
2330GMT Japan – YOY Household Spending; a 0.7% increase is expected, prior release was a 1.8% increase.
2330GMT Japan – Unemployment; currently at 4.2%, and expectations are for unchanged.
2350GMT Japan – Industrial Production (Preliminary release); a fall of 3.3% in the MoM figure is expected vs. the prior at -1.6%.
The figure for YoY are expected to be -13.8% vs -4.6% prior.
At 2400GMT we get the HIA New Home Sales figures out of Australia; they will be released as MoM, market expectations are for a fall of 5.3%.
The biggest news today, though, is the expected announcement from the BoJ of Y10T in fresh stimulus (easing).
