In America they talk about 3D printing of food and shoes while in Europe they worry how powerful your hoover is

An American IT advisory firm says that we could be 5-10 years away from printing our own food or clothing. Another says that the direct economic impact of 3D printing could be between $230-550bn a year by 2025.

Meanwhile in Europe a ban comes into force 1st September on hoovers that are deemed too powerful by the European Commission.

Just in case you needed reminding about how crackers Europe is in some of its thinking and priorities.

It’s good news for me as the missus has been bugging me for a new hoover so hopefully there will be loads of redundant stock going cheap. Look after the pennies and all that
