The WSJ overnight on Trump's latest whining, the target this time Federal Reserve Chair Powell
Again.
The Journal is, of course, gated, but Bloomberg have a good run down:
- Powell received a call from Trump on March 8
- has also tweeted his displeasure
- Trump blasting Powell at three meetings in the past week
- blaming Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin for recommending Powell for the job
- Trump also signalled privately that he may have no choice but to leave Powell -- whom he picked to lead the central bank -- in place."I guess I'm stuck with you," the Journal quoted
