Not just US China trade wars (and US - Europe and whatever else I've miss), not the EU and Switzerland are at issue over cross border share trading.
An update ICYMI, European Union and Switzerland have imposed new restrictions on each other:
Investment firms in the EU are no longer allowed to trade on the Swiss stock exchange
- (the "equivalence" arrangement allowing them to do so expired on June 30 and the European Commission decided not to renew it for now)
In response Switzerland has banned the trading of Swiss shares on EU markets
The background to this
- economic relations between the two are governed by around 120 individual bilateral agreements
- the EU wants to update and simplify the arrangement, have a draft of a new agreement, but the Swiss have asked for clarification
- EU has become frustrated by the delay

One for the EUR/CHF folks to factor in?
