Paul Ryan to quit
Axios reports that Paul Ryan will soon announce that he won't run for re-election in November, citing people close to him.
Rumours of Ryan's departure are frequent but the belief was that he would continue to lead the House into the November mid-terms and then quit some time afterwards. Some might take this as a sign he's worried about losing the House and wants to go out on top. Others will note that he's said for a long time that he wants to spend more time with his family. He has three kids around high-school age and flies to Wisconsin every weekend.
