The word going around, (which incidentally i think is rubbish), is that Schaeuble might be returning early from holiday, which some say sparked the sell off in EUR/GBP and subsequently helped push the EUR/USD lower.
I may get egg on my face here, but i, like Gerry, hate rumours ….
