A light session ahead for data but we do get a couple of talking heads
2030GMT - Loretta Mester, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, speaks on monetary policy. There will be an audience Q&A to follow.
Mester is at the hawkish end of the spectrum of Fed officials, so its likely she'll be in the 4 hikes camp rather than 3. That's what expected (by me, at least) so hawkish comments from her should come as no surprise.
The timing of the speech is at 4.30pm NY time, which means its at the queit time of day for liquidity. Anything unexpected could thus have a bigger impact on immediate pricing than otherwise would be the case.
2230GMT - Australia - ANZ Roy Morgan weekly Consumer confidence for the week ended March 25
- prior 118.5
2310GMT - Randy Quarles, member and vice chair for supervision of the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, speaking. At the Hope Global Fourm - no details of his speech topic etc. are available
2350GMT - Japan - PPI for services, February
- expected +0.7% y/y, prior +0.7% y/y
