2330 GMT Australia, Westpac leading index for February, prior barely changed, down -0.01% m/m
- This has been persistently showing below trend growth ... rightly so. While the indicator does not tend to move the forex upon release it is an excellent guide to economic growth in Australia ahead.

2350 Bank of Japan meeting minutes from ... drumroll please ... January! Talk about stale.
- The minutes are pre-empted by about 6 weeks by the 'summary of opinions' from the meeting. The Jan. meeting was on the 22nd and 23rd ... the 'summary' was out on January 31. (link ICYMI)
- Since the Jan. meeting we have had the March meeting, last week.
- Anyway, stay tuned for anything unexpected!

0000 GMT Reserve Bank of Australia speaker - Michele Bullock, Assistant Governor (Financial System), at the Urban Development Institute of Australia. Sounds unlikely there will be much on the economy nor monetary policy (given the venue) but we'll soon find out.
