Global Dairy Trade auction in London time today, results should come in sometime after midday GMT (Tuesday 20 September 2016)
- The result at the previous auction was +7.7% gain for the index, its 3rd consecutive rise:
Expectations for today are for another rise in the index, in the region of 8 to 10% higher.
Higher dairy prices are a positive for the NZD, so a better result 'should' be a support for the currency.
