Headless chooks

Sorry, I slipped into Australian language for a moment there.

A chook is a chicken.

“Running around like a chook with its head cut off” refers to someone getting overly excited about not much at all. Sort of like the FOMC Minutes …

Have to admit I’m a little confused. It was only December when we got the 6.5% unemployment / 2.5% inflation guideposts from the Fed. Are they going to change so soon? Recent speeches from Bernanke and Yellen (AKA the big swingers at the Fed) would suggest not.

Still, we got some great moves in the markets; I’m not going to stand in the way of them. Maybe we need more headless chooks, more often

:-)
