Hassett says confident China and US can reach agreement by March 1 deadline

Markets dove yesterday on reports that US-China preparatory meetings had been cancelled but bounced when Larry Kudlow denied it.

"The first quarter has tended to be weak... with an extended shutdown, we could end up with a number that's very low," Hassett said.
