Greek coalition leaders hold late night meeting

The idea was to draw up a new strategy to face the challenges ahead, and whilst the three heads of parties agreed to closer coordination, they shunned the idea of a tripartite committee.

The meeting didn’t bring up the subject of any cabinet reshuffle or changes to electoral law

S&P raised Greece’s sovereignty rating from ‘selective default’ to ‘ B-‘ with a stable outlook during the meeting, which had created a ‘hopeful atmosphere’ according to Fin Min Stournaras.
