ATHENS (MNI) -The four biggest Greek banks received E18 billion as
part of their recapitalization process, the Finance Ministry said in a
statement released Monday.
“With these funds the banks have adequate capital in order to
secure ongoing funding from the European Central Bank and the
Eurosystem,” the ministry said. “Also, the banks now have the necessary
funding to help the real economy.”
