Has battled Covid since shortly after the riots on January 6
Texas GOP Republican representative Ron Wright died at 67 from Covid 19. Wright had previously battled lung cancer (he announced in July 2019).
Rep. Wright tested positive for coronavirus in early January, following the Capitol riots.
At the time of his diagnosis, Mr Wright confirmed that he was experiencing "minor symptoms", but conditions worsened.
