Goldman Sachs sees BOE cutting rates by 50 bps at March meeting

The firm also says that the impact of the virus outbreak will push the UK economy to the edge of a recession

Yeah, the real question with the BOE now is how much will they be cutting and not if they will be cutting rates this month. As highlighted yesterday here, the market is pricing in a larger move than 25 bps but not quite at 50 bps just yet.
