Gold is at the highs of the day, up $21 to $1248 and narrowly topping the Jan 6 high.
A break would just the beginning of the technical hurdles for gold as $1250, the Oct 15 low of $1251, 55dma (at $1252) all converge followed by the Dec high of $1268.
