Gold drops as dollar finds a footing

It didn’t take much US dollar strength to spark a reversal in precious metals. Gold is down $8 to $1246 after rising as high as $1258 following non-farm payrolls. The decline has almost completely wiped out yesterday’s post-ECB move.

The ease and speed of the fall in gold should make the gold bulls uneasy.
