GM tweets flagged negative sentiment ahead of poor auto sales numbers

A bit after the fact news but maybe something worth noting

According to Bloomberg's Twitter sentiment analysis, GM fell from a positive number to a negative over the past day.

Bloomberg run their own sentiment analysis on tweets and although it's been running for a few years now, it might gain further traction now that they've just signed a deal with Twitter to create a 24 hour rolling news channel.

At times Twitter can rival the best paid services for market breaking news, and it's all for free. It looks like Bloomberg wants to try and get their feet under the table to harness that power.

And that's my cue to plug our very own Twitter handle @ForexLive, which continues to go from strength to strength with over 115k readers now (thanks to all of them).

BTW, Fiat Chrysler is now up and another big miss of -7.0% vs -5.9% exp.

Nissan out too, -1.5% vs +1.5% exp.
