The German economic minister has some advice for the EU
EU should work on a new growth and stability pact
Existing pact is too focused on stability and not enough on growth
EU should give countries time to carry out reforms in exchange for reducing deficits
EU should also reward reforms made by member countries
I think countries get far too much time to enact reforms. We're nearly 5 years from the height of the crisis and still waiting for a mountain of reforms to be completed.
