Total active cases ease further to ~155,100, the lowest since 30 October
The German virus situation continues to improve as the daily case count falls below 10,000 yet again. That said, the death count is still not quite at levels desired though there is a lag time before that starts to turn around as well.
Hospitalisations remain somewhat stretched so that will be a key statistic to watch if local authorities are to lift restrictions come 7 March.
There were 3,675 (-61) virus patients requiring intensive care as of yesterday with there being 4,573 (17%) intensive care beds still available across the country.
