There's still no change in the virus trend in Germany
The daily case count fits with what we have seen in the past few weeks after the Monday low count, with there being another 423 deaths reported today as well.
On the latter, that brings the total to 19,342 persons. As for active cases, it is reduced to about ~296,500 but keeps within the recent range of nearly 300,000.
Essentially, another week has gone by and there are still no signs of the virus situation abating just yet in Germany. Although, the positive takeaway is that it has sort of plateaued over the past three to four weeks since 'lockdown light' began.
In terms of healthcare capacity, there are 4,179 (+71) coronavirus patients requiring intensive care as of yesterday with there being 5,450 (20%) intensive care beds still available.
