Latest data released by Markit/BME - 2 January 2019
Preliminary figures can be found here. Very much like the French reading earlier, this is bang in-line with initial estimates. Nothing to really gather from the release here that we didn't already know from the preliminary figures.
EUR/USD sits at 1.1447 after having touched a low of 1.1429 earlier. EUR/GBP sits higher at 0.9013 now with the pound slipping further on the day. EUR/JPY still tracks at the day's lows at 124.77 after having reached a 19-month low earlier @ 124.59.
